Privacy Policy
Last updated: 3 August 2026
This policy explains what happens to information when you use pay.forkr.in, operated by VetanPe.
The short version
Calculator entries are processed locally in your browser. VetanPe does not transmit or store the values you enter. When you create a share link, the selected values are placed in the URL fragment so that another browser can recreate the estimate — anyone who receives that link can see those values.
Calculator data
Everything you type into the calculator — basic pay, basic pension, fitment factor, implementation date and payment date — is processed by JavaScript running on your own device. These values are never sent to a VetanPe server, because the site has no application server to send them to. It is published as static files.
Nothing you enter is written to cookies, local storage or session storage. Closing or reloading the page clears it.
Shared links and why they use a # fragment
If you use the share button, the figures are placed after a # in the link, like this:
https://pay.forkr.in/8th-pay-commission-calculator/#type=employee&basic=30000&factor=2.28
The part after the # is the URL fragment. Browsers do not send the fragment to the web server as part of the HTTP request. That matters: anything placed before the #, in a query string, would appear in hosting access logs, in referrer headers sent to other sites, and in analytics. Your figures never appear in any of those.
What the fragment does not protect you from is the link itself. It sits in your browser history, in whatever app you paste it into, and in the history of everyone you send it to. Share a result link only with people you intend to see those figures. VetanPe never receives a copy.
Links created before this change used a ? query string. If you open one, the calculator still reads it, then immediately rewrites the address to the fragment form so the values stop travelling onwards.
Analytics
If analytics is enabled on this site, it is configured to record only anonymous product usage — for example that a calculation was completed, that employee or pensioner mode was chosen, or that a result was copied. It is specifically configured so that it cannot record:
- your basic pay or basic pension,
- the fitment factor you chose or the amounts calculated,
- the full address of a page when that address contains calculator values — those parameters are stripped before any analytics event is sent.
Analytics providers may collect standard technical information such as approximate location derived from IP address, browser type and referring page, under their own privacy terms.
Cookies
The calculator itself sets no cookies. If analytics or advertising is enabled, those third-party services may set cookies in your browser; you can block or delete them through your browser settings without affecting the calculator, which will continue to work normally.
Advertising
This site may display advertising in future, including through Google AdSense. Where that happens, advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, in line with their own policies. Advertising will never be placed inside the calculator controls, beside the input fields or over the result. No information you type into the calculator is ever passed to an advertising partner.
Accounts and personal data
There is no registration, no login and no user profile. We do not ask for and cannot accept your name, Aadhaar number, PAN, employee code, pension payment order number, bank details or any other identifier. Please do not send such details by email either.
Children
This site is a general-purpose financial calculator and is not directed at children.
External links
Links to government websites and other external resources are provided for verification. VetanPe does not control those sites and is not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
Hosting and server logs
The site is served as static files over HTTPS. Like essentially every website, the hosting provider records ordinary technical request information — the page address requested, IP address, timestamp, browser user-agent and referring page — for security and reliability. We do not use those logs to build profiles of visitors.
Because your calculator values travel in the URL fragment, they are not part of the address the server receives, and so they do not appear in those logs. And because nothing you enter is transmitted or stored, there is no database of user figures that could be compromised.
We say “does not transmit or store” rather than “collects nothing at all”, because a hosting provider serving a page inevitably sees the request for it. That is a limit worth stating plainly rather than glossing over.
Your rights
As we hold no personal data about you, there is normally nothing to access, correct or delete. If you have written to us by email, you may ask us to delete that correspondence at any time through the contact page.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes — for example when analytics or advertising is switched on — the updated date at the top of this page will change.
