VetanPe builds independent digital tools that do one job clearly. This site is one of them: a calculator that helps Central Government employees and pensioners understand what different 8th Central Pay Commission assumptions would mean in rupees.
What this site is
An estimation tool. You supply your current basic pay or basic pension and a hypothetical fitment factor, and the calculator shows the arithmetic that follows — revised basic amount, monthly increase, percentage increase and arrears over a period you choose. Every formula used is printed on the page beside the result.
What this site is not
- It is not a Government of India website and has no affiliation with any ministry, department or commission.
- It does not publish official figures. No 8th Pay Commission fitment factor, pay matrix, implementation date or allowance structure has been announced.
- It does not give financial, tax or legal advice.
- It does not use any government emblem, seal, logo or official-looking branding, and it never describes itself as official or approved.
How we handle your information
The calculator runs entirely inside your browser. The pay, pension and date values you type are never transmitted to VetanPe or to any third party, and there is no account system, no login and no database of user figures. The privacy policy sets this out in full.
How we treat official information
Every page carries a “Latest verified official status” box with a date. That date changes only when a person has actually re-checked the position against the government sources listed on this site. Newspaper reports and social-media claims are never promoted to official status here, however widely they are repeated.
How the numbers stay consistent
All five calculators share one calculation engine, and the worked examples printed in the articles are generated by that same engine when the site is built. A figure quoted in an explanation cannot drift away from what the calculator produces.
Corrections
If you find an error in a formula, a broken link or wording that could mislead someone, please report it through the contact page. Corrections to the calculation logic are treated as the highest priority.
